MP SET Economics Eligibility Criteria

​MP SET Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in Economics or a closely related field from a university recognized by the UGC, with a minimum of 55% marks.
  
  
• SC/ST/OBC candidates must achieve a minimum of 50% marks in their postgraduate degree for eligibility.
  
  
• Candidates awaiting their postgraduate results or currently enrolled may apply provisionally. However, they must secure at least 55% marks in their master’s degree to be considered eligible. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
  
  
• Candidates who obtained a PhD before September 19, 1991, are eligible to apply for the MP SET Economics exam.​

MP SET Age Limit

There are no predefined age limits for candidates appearing in the MP SET Economics examination.

MP SET Nationality

Candidates must have a permanent address in Madhya Pradesh, either by residing in the state for at least ten years or by being born there.
