EMRS TGT Eligibility 2025

Educational Qualification:

To apply for EMRS TGT posts, candidates must meet one of the following:

• Four-year integrated degree in the relevant subject from NCERT Regional College of Education or any NCTE-recognized institution.

• Bachelor’s (Honours) degree in the relevant subject (minimum 2 years studied in a 3-year course).

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject studied throughout all three years of graduation.

Subject-Specific Requirements:

TGT (Maths):

• Bachelor’s in Mathematics with Physics and one of: Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, or Statistics.

• B.Sc. (Hons.) in Maths should include Physics and one of the mentioned subjects in any two years.

• B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics or Chemistry is not eligible.

TGT (Science):

• Bachelor’s degree with Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry studied in all three years.

• Candidates with Honours in one subject must have studied the other two for at least two years.

Age Limit:

• General Category: Up to 35 years

• Reserved Categories: As per Government of India rules

• EMRS Employees: Up to 55 years (including relaxations)

EMRS TGT Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years

• OBC (NCL): 3 years

• Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years

• Women (for PGT posts): 10 years

• Persons with Disabilities: SC/ST 15 years, OBC 13 years, General 10 years
